Entries into dog show free of charge. Competitors pay to enter show ground.
Entries taken on the field. Judging to commence at 11.00 am.
Rosettes to 4th place.

Pedigree Classes

  1. Any Variety Puppy (6 to 12 months)
  2. Any Variety Sporting
  3. Any variety Non-Sporting
  4. Any Variety Gundog
  5. Any Variety Working
  6. Any Variety Open

Three prizes in each class:

  • Best in Show
  • Reserve Best in Show
  • Best Puppy
    (Open to 1st class winners of classes 1-6) 

Novelty Classes 

  1. Fancy Dress Young Handler – Under 10 years, Fancy dress for handler and dog
  2. Best Young Handler – 10-16 years of age
  3. Best trick – Open to all, a command and a treat can be given
  4. Judges Favourite – Open to all breeds
  5. Dog and Owner Lookalike – Does your dog look like you? Matching clothing accepted
  6. Friendliest Dog – Open to all breeds

Break for lunch of 30 Minutes
Dog Agility will be available to participate in during the lunch break

  1. Golden Oldie – Best dog or bitch over 10 years old
  2. Best Paw Shaker – Open to all, a command and a treat can be given
  3. Judges Favourite – Open to all breeds
  4. Best Conditioned Outside the Ceiriog valley – open to dog or bitch
  5. Best Conditioned Confined to the Ceiriog valley (see rule 20) – open to dog or bitch

One prize in each class:

  • Novelty Champion of Show
    (Open to 1st class winners of classes 7-16)

     

Best in Show within Ceiriog Valley to receive a Ceiriog valley Sheepdog Society trophy.

A certificate must be shown for a dog docked on or after 28th March 2007 to enter classes. A dog which has won a Kennel Club Champion Certificate may not be entered for exhibition at the Show.
